This blog began as a way to follow my journey as I train with four of my friends to run several races this year. We each began the training for different reasons and our initial goal was to train for a 5K. We have since completed the 5K and are scheduled to run many more races this year including a 6K, 10-mil, 10K, and half-marathon. Through this training we have deepened our friendships and picked up new runners along the way.
When I’m not running I am busy teaching middle school English, cooking, baking, selling Thirty-One bags, volunteering, spending time with friends, making trips back home to California, planning events…and it sometimes feels like I am running reckless through life.
